| Our plans for today are:
|
| late morning painting in the Espace Van Gogh in town |
| after lunch, drive to village of Saint-Remy where Van Gogh was in an asylum for 1 year (May 1889-May 1890, from there he went to Auvers-sur-Oise, which we're visitiing on 6/18), go to the Centre d'Art Presence Van Gogh |
| on to the medeival village built on the side of a mountain, Les Baux de Provence, we will see the Cahtedrale d'Images, an inexplicable modern art show in a huge, deep quarry, then dinner back up the hill in Les Baux; paint in Les Baux (spectacular views...it's the area where the film "La Gloire de Mon Pere (My Father's Glory) was filmed)
